“Green Soul Rising” is a personal account of my plant-based journey as an Afro-Caribbean woman. As I venture onward, defying tradition and societal expectation, I uncover a wealth of possibilities that shift my beliefs in ways I never thought possible.

Finding my place.

After becoming plant-based, I knew that I needed to take the information I had learned through my experiences with cooking, trying different foods and research that I needed to share it with my community. Communicating my ideas through panels, discourse and platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and other sites; I have been able to establish myself as a voice and advocate for health and wellness in spaces where these conversations normally would be lacking.
